XXL Top Quality Extremely Rare Hilton Golden Yellow Fluorite on a base of Quartz.

We are DELIGHTED to introduce Hilton Mine Yellow Fluorite which are some of our oldest and most sought after U.K. Fluorite specimens we have stocked.

The specimens from this location were mined in the 1990s and are over 30 years old, meaning these are some of the rarest U.K. Fluorites we have had a LCT U.K. and are highly recommended for our collectors.

The Hilton mine is located in Scordale, Murton, Eden in the county of Cumbria, U.K. 🇬🇧 It is located on the east side of Scordale, approximately 4 km North East of the village and fertile valley of Hilton, which the mine is named after. This mine is one of the U.K.’s oldest mines for Barite (until 1897),

The specimens we have available are beautiful glassy, rich yellow Fluorites with sharp edges and high quality. The Fluorite from this mine can additionally found with other minerals commonly found in this area of Galena, Quartz, Calcite and Botryoidal Aragonite. They are perfect for collectors as their age and thus rarity makes them sought after. Highly recommended!

Specimens should not be washed and must be handled with care. We suggest that they are placed on infrequently used furniture or shelves and display cabinets.  They do not cope with being dropped, so we urge caution when handling them. 

We stock a limited amount of stands, so we will add them in ACCESSORIES section as we get stock in. 

These are earth mined crystal, this means there will be a variation of colour, shape and size. All sizes are approximate and vary from piece to piece.
