This specimen is from one of my personal favourite Fluorite mine in North Yorkshire, U.K. 🇬🇧 This mine produces a classic range of appearances, including Clear/ Pure White Fluorites with a subtle Zoning Edge of Navy or Purple, to a Iron Stained White Fluorite coloured Red to yellow and a purple edge.

The most interesting aspect or personality of these specimens is how the edge zoning of navy or purple appears and disappear according to your Angel of viewing. 

This particular specimen has a lot of tiny, beautiful cubes with iron sulphate inclusions, that have a particular clarity and have navy blue and purple edges zoning. This specimen additionally have small areas of Specular Hematite.

Specimens should not be washed and must be handled with care. We suggest that they are placed on infrequently used furniture or shelves and display cabinets.  They do not cope with being dropped, so we urge caution when handling them.
