#8 Smokey Rabbit Fluorite XL From Diana Maria Mine, Weardale, County Durham, U.K. 🇬🇧

Introducing the rare Smokey 🐰 Rabbit Fluorite

We are lucky to have a very limited stock of 11 large and extra large Smokey Rabbit Fluorite from the famous Diana Maria Mine, Weardale, County Durham, U.K.  The Smokey Rabbit Fluorite pocket was discovered in July 2021 and has a limited production, so we do not anticipate restocking this fascinating Fluorite. 

These distinctly smoky sage green crystals vary between equant cubes and elongated cuboids, usually gemmy, yet containing reflective veils within the crystal structures. The crystals exhibit moderate deep lilac natural daylight fluorescence and under LWUV fluoresce bright lavender and dappled white. The specimens we have available have snow white frosted patches, which are a rarity in this pocket.

Crystal edges are razor-sharp and the faces are highly reflective; typically glass smooth while often showing low relief, four sided growth hillocks with growth spirals. Occasional crystals have snow white frosted patches, but these are in the minority. The crystals exhibit moderate deep lilac natural daylight fluorescence and under LWUV fluoresce bright lavender and dappled white.

These are supplied in a black gift box with an information card.

Specimens should not be washed and must be handled with care. We suggest that they are placed on infrequently used furniture or shelves and display cabinets.  They do not cope with being dropped, so we urge caution when handling them. 

We stock a limited amount of stands, so we will add them in ACCESSORIES section as we get stock in. 

These are earth mined crystal, this means there will be a variation of colour, shape and size. All sizes are approximate and vary from piece to piece.
