About Truffle 🐷 Pig Fluorite
Introducing the Truffle Pig Fluorite from the Sutcliffe Vein, Diana Maria Mine, Frosterley, Weardale, County Durham, U.K. These beautiful colour change fluorites have the classic green to navy colour change from indoors to outside lighting. Many of these specimens also have White Calcite and can vary from Emerald Green to a Teal colour. These specimens were named Truffle Pig because the specimens where extracted from the floor of this small pocket, with the miners having to kneel on the floor, like a pig looking for truffles. A funny but very apt name for these pieces.
